Day 1:

  9:00 Check-in
  10:00 Introductions
  10:15 Warm-up
  10:30 4 step (Take-off drills) (hand, hip & leg position)
  11:00 6 step (swing drills) (finishing take-off)
  11:30 8 step (full vaults) (pole carry, running mechanics, pole drop)
  12:00 *Lunch (ham, turkey, cheese sliders)
  1:00 Warm-up (rules & checkmark explanation)
  1:15 Full Approach 

  2:45 Summer Camp Challenge #1
  3:00 *Break (river)
  5:30 Summer Camp Challenge #2 
  6:00 *Dinner (grilled burgers and dogs, mac & cheese, etc.) & games
  7:30 Summer Camp Challenge #3 "Inside 20" competition
  8:30 Campfire (smores)
  9:00 Summer Camp Challenge #4 and then showers 
Note:  snacks will be available any time of the day for campers to enjoy!

Day 2:

  8:00 *Breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, fruit, etc.)
  9:00 Warm-up
  9:15 4 step drills (take-off)
  9:45 6 step drills (swing)
  10:15 8 step (full vaults)
  11:00 *Break (games)
  12:00 *Lunch (ham, turkey, cheese sliders)
  1:00 Full approach 

  2:45 Summer Camp Challenge #5
  3:00 *Break (River)
  6:00 *Dinner (spaghetti and garlic bread, salad) & games
  7:00 Summer Camp Challenge #6 "Stiff pole" competition (no grip limit)
  8:00 Homemade brownies
  8:30 Shower

Day 3:

  8:00 *Breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, fruit, etc.)
  9:00 Overview of lessons learned
  9:15 Warm-ups
  10:00 Summer Camp Challenge #7 *Vault Meet (lunch will be available at campers convenience during meet)
  2:00 Camp Ends when the meet is over.  

 

We would like for ALL campers to stay until the end so we can announce the winning team of the "Summer Camp Challenge".
